"Dancing atoms in perovskite materials provide insight into how solar cells work" by SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 2.0
The perovskite in a type of material with a specific crystalline structure that is being investigated for use in solar cells for its high efficiency, however the main problem of these kind of materials is the stability of its crystal structure. For this reason, researchers led by Michael Grätzel and Anders Hafgeldt have developed a deposition method that overcomes the issues while maintaining the high conversion of perovskite solar cells.
