Goal

 

To strengthen the training of graduate students, young scientists and engineering in the area of steel processing, hot working of metals, metallurgical research and testing as well as simulations of welding, heat treatment, rolling, continuous casting, forging, additive manufacturing and other metallurgical processes. Gleeble techniques offer the opportunity, as a meeting point, for the exchange of knowledge and expertise in materials science and engineering in general.
